Hd6525 and similar
I am in the same boat. I think the HD40 with the cherry wax will give you the gloss look. I too thought about the HD6525 but it seems that takes an acid etch -

Floor waxing?
Have you looked into HD40 with some cherry wax? Search HD40 on this site, I think that's the look you will be wanting for the "other 1000 sq ft". Fairly inexpensive and you can easily do it yourself -

Low cost floor coating.
I am in the same boat, with many hours and days lurking on this forum I probably will be going with the HD6525MMA. I have a garage that's 991 Sq ft. It would be about $500 for me to prep and add 3 coats of the HD6525 with some cherry wax. I don't trust myself with Epoxy and the local company... -
