From collecting my set over the years I too have some 6pt box ends SAE. I use mostly metric so I don’t use those wrenches often. Often wondered if they were industrial?
I most stock up on 10mm sockets and wrenches. I had enough duplicates I put together a full second box for the car trailer. Now I don’t have to fill a tool box every time I go racing or to pick up a project.
For all the bench mounted vices I have owned (2), I have bolted through the plywood. On 1 of those vices I doubled up the thickness of the plywood and bolted through that. doubling up you ply also gets the vise away form the bench-top making it easier to turn and manipulate.
Yeah I looked inot the Sam's club prices. They are really good, but I don't want it folded and it seems like they only sell the thin stuff. I am thinking of the 85 mil thick industrial stuff.
