    This is an absolute no brainer, go with the indirect. You should ask these questions on a plumbing forum. The people here suggesting anything other than the indirect are badly miss-informed

    It does not matter. Water is either flowing through the loop or it's not. They are more common on the supply side but it does not matter.

    It is a plumbing tool to remove recessed clean outs. I don't know how to post pictures from my ipad but if you google recessed clean out plug you will see what I mean
