RJ45 Jack users ? Quick question.

By chatter do you mean the sound the pump makes when it's running? Mine makes putt-putt sounds like a small piston driven air pump.

    Bend Pak Owners..

I got mine from asedeals.com as well. Call them up, instead of ordering online, and they'll likely knock some more off of the price! They did for me anyway...

4 Post lift with Pro 4500 Jack flexing? Normal?

I've seen some flex- and twist (~3 degrees under load) in my HD9-XW. I sent pics of the twist to Bend Pak, and was told it was within spec.

    Bend Pak Owners..

I'm another HD9-XW owner, and my lift's not bolted down either. I do notice some sway if I'm rocking something enough to set the whole lift moving, but I've learned to watch for it and stop what I'm doing when I see it! My cars are on the ligher side, MR2 and Integra, which may have something to...

Which Bendpak Lift HD-9 or HD-9ST? Sizing Question

I have the wider version. I've actually switched the runways back and forth (narrow to wide and back) a few times, depending on what I'm trying to do. Sometimes it makes things easier to work on when the ramps are wider, so they don't cover quite as much of the underside of the car. I recently...

Lift accessories ie lift drain & rolling cart?

The casters are held on with plates that are screwed into thick plastic on the bottom. Nothing penetrates the oil compartment so nothing to leak. It's not too hard to empty. I pour the used oil directly from the drain into widemouth containers I got from Walmart. It's easier if you do it before...

Lift accessories ie lift drain & rolling cart?

I've got the 8-gallon plastic drain from Lisle. $65 from thetoolwarehouse: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-11102.html Works great and is pretty stable- more so once it's got some oil in it. -Larry

    Craftsman pliers- made in China?

At $3.99, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I'll probably keep them, and assume that they're disposable (or at least exchangeable when they break). At the regular price of $9.99, they'd be on their way back already! I'm more than willing to pay higher prices for better quality, but I won't pay...

    Craftsman pliers- made in China?

Yesterday, I picked up a few of the Craftsman Professional pliers that are advertised in the club flyer. When I got them home and took them out of the packaging, I noticed that they are marked "CHINA" on the back side of the hinge! Maybe I missed something, but haven't Craftsman hand tools sold...

    bend-pak hd9 or pl7

I remember looking at the PL7 before I bought my HD9, and deciding that it wasn't useful for anything but storage. It has a solid (non-removable) deck so there's really no way to work on the car when it's in the air. It also costs a bit more than the HD9. That being said, one of the local car...

    Bend pak HD-9 questions

I wasn't able to order it without the standard steel ramps, so I have them sitting in my shed while I use the aluminum ones. I figure that they'll get cut up and used for a project someday... -Larry

    Bend pak HD-9 questions

I forgot about those- I never installed them. My lift is only ~1ft from the garage door, so there's no room to have the ramps in place with a closed door.

    Bend pak HD-9 questions

The ramps hang down when the lift goes up and get in the way of pulling a second car underneath. They're not too hard to remove, but they are heavy.

    Bend pak HD-9 questions

I bought an HD9-XW from asedeals last year, and had it delivered to my installer. They brought it over on a flatbed tow truck, and slid it off right in my driveway. Maybe you can do something similar with a local towing company? It takes 15 quarts of 10-WT hydraulic oil or Dexron III automatic...
