    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I could use the Icon bit set, but I know the second I buy it without coupon a coupon will pop up!

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Home Depot has the M18 Radius site light on clearance for $100. I'm not sure how good of a deal or product it is, but I scooped one up to try.

    Tire Mounting Lube / paste.

Murphy's is the right stuff for race car tires. I struggled to get some stiff sidewall tires to seat using other products. Murphy's works.

Milwaukee Packout Drawers for Mechanic Work

I use the packout boxes as track tool boxes. They work pretty good for that, and I keep stuff organized in them with bags. Only thing I don't like is they will tip if you aren't paying attention with lots of heavy stuff in the drawers.

    Cleaning Hand Tools

To those doing this type of cleaning in the kitchen sink or the dishwasher, you must be on sewer service. I would not want to do that to my septic. Sure, it's not going to hurt when done rarely but it's not a good idea either...

What tools are required for LS3 "road bag"? Metric or standard?

Drivetrain will be metric. As you know, the rest of the car will be standard. Ask the builder what you should pack for spares and tools. Probably very little. Maybe a coil pack, couple sensors, that sort of thing and the tools to change em.

Non Aerosol Spray Can - What's Your Homemade Brake Clean Recipe?

No, don't do this. These sprayers rust if you use water based products in them. I made this mistake and after a day or two the isopropyl alcohol was coming out a nice orange rust color. There's really no fixing this...

    Wera Tool-Check Plus

Have you posted more about the Porsche before? I have an old 911 and have coincidentally thought about that Wera set as an item to leave in it.

Hub Removal: Astro 78830 vs. Lisle 40100

Slide hammer is certainly aggressive. As someone who doesn't need to use it much, it always gives me pause. I feel like I'm going to break something. That said, it's the way many factory manuals will tell you to pull a hub!

Thoughts on Tekton Micrometer Torque Wrench?

I have their 1/4 and 3/8 micrometer style. I am very happy with them. I had to warranty one of them after the ratchet mechanism started to skip in a couple positions. It was replaced quickly. Great customer support. I purchased the split beam 3/8 and 1/2 when they came out and were on sale...
