Grounds for warranty/exchange from Mac truck?

Total FOD risk and more importantly, chipping chrome really hurts when it punctures the skin. I know my Mac guy would not have an issue. All you can do is ask!

    MAC Precision Torque wrenches durability?

After 5 years of professional daily use as my go to wrench, I would say they are fantastic. Have not had an issue yet, would recommend to anyone.

Launch X431 scan tool, opinions? Mostly working on Volvo and GM trucks.

Launch is excellent. It acts as a generic obd tool when working on MOST domestic and some Jap vehicles so no bi-directional functions would be available on your GM.

A laser alignment system that's good but won't break the bank?

You are not going to find a LASER alignment system for any kind of budget that is worth anything. But, a VERY good option for your self is what I have used for many customers for at the track tweaks is this setup: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=12736...

I've never needed a tool specific to this job and I have encountered some mighty large ones in my career. An appropriate sized screw driver to pry them off and a pair of channel locks or my thumb to install. I do not understand the issue?

Mystery Tool Of The Week! What is this?

I saw a set of those at co-workers father's workshop. He was a clock maker from waaaayyyy back (1920's) before he passed. Those are templates for creating brass gears and from what I can tell, a very well made set. Think of it as a master to not only scribe new gears, but to also check for...
