2 post vs. 4 post lifts

When wrenching, I hated working on the 4 post lifts. I would avoid it at all costs. It makes it harder to access many areas of the car, much more of a pain to do tires and brakes. I also hate the cross supports in the front and back. They don't seem that big, yet their gravity is enormous and...

That screw is a really cool project. Clever person must have thought that one up. Seems like that would be a great lathe lesson!:rocker:

Does Matco still have a student discount?

I am actually an instructor and at least as far I know, I never run out of time for it. I have been using matco since 2004. It has always worked. Maybe I will have to contact them. Thanks for letting me know.

Does Matco still have a student discount?

I noticed when I logged in this month to check the specials that there were no half off discounts. They did have some deals where if you bought one of the monthly tools, you got a free tool along with it. What gives? Anyone know what is going on? Does the discount still show for you? thanks

    A custom pit box

Oh, holy hell that thing is awesome! You CAN NOT get rid of that. That is one of those things you will always regret. That will become one of those old guy stories where they complain about the one they let get away and deeply wish they didn't. Nice find and great job fixing it up:bowdown:

I put my Craftsman ratchet to the test.

lol, this story makes me laugh. I do the same thing. I always put away my snap on stuff and pull out the craftsman when I encounter a bolt so stuck I need a cheater. Since I don't wrench in a shop anymore it is harder to get warranties. I have put 4' cheaters on my craftsman ratchets too and...

    Tooltopia

Look what I found! I have been looking on craigslist and ebay for about 2 months looking for a good deal on a dust collector. I got this baby for $120 and it came with 1 micron bags and a lone ranger remote control! I wanted it so that I could use my router, tablesaw, orbit sanders, and planer...

    Tooltopia

Thank you very much. I love that land cruiser. I needed a project car so I could keep my tools working. It is a great project car too because you can take off most of the panels to get to everything, is high enough to roll on a creeper without jacks, and has room to reach everything. There is a...
