Bookshelf girts are helpful when you plan on putting up an interior wall finish, it gives you something to screw into. With conventional girts, you have to frame the inside also, greatly increasing your material cost and labor to do double the work. My posts are 8 feet apart, And while I can’t...

    Visions- meet budget and incompetence

Awesome story! Love the BMW, you aren’t the first married guy who had to sell a car to move on to other things, looking forward to seeing your next project. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Smart Garage options..

I’ve had good luck with Insteon. I believe they make WiFi controllable wall switches. I’m using the plug in modules for lamps, and motion sensors and have no complaints. No subscription. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Help identify this Compressor

That does look like a champion. You can call them with the model number and the serial number and they may be able to tell you for certain if it is one of theirs. Look on the crank case, there may be a serial number stamped in that also, make sure it is the same one that is on the sticker. I...

Holding Tank for Building Waste Water

In my area, tying a garage floor drain or sink into a sewer or septic requires a “triple-trap” to catch any oils. They figure if it’s a garage, some genius will eventually dump oil down the drain someday. Based on my life experience with humanity, I can’t say they’re wrong. Sent from my iPad...

The Start of Something Great 30x60

As someone who has a 30’ X 56’ my advice to you is to go wide off the bat even if you have to cut the length down to afford it. It’s easy later to add more posts and trusses to add length, but once that width is established you are pretty much stuck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Breathing air from a compressor

Might be cheaper to get a used SCUBA setup, but then you’d still have to get the bottle filled. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Tom, were you able to get COM Ed to bring three phase power onto your property, or are using phase converters? If converters, rotary or solid-state? I’ve passed up machines in the past because I didn’t have three phase power, and I’m wondering how much of a hassle it is to rig it up. Denny...
