    Air compressor pump woes

Well ran it for 20 minutes and dumped the oil.............full of metal. Took it apart and the pistons rings and cylinder walls don't seem gouged up like I would expect. The rods and crank show a little wear and I could not see where all the metal was coming from. I pulled the crank out and...

Thanks for the encouraging comments. I am running the new oil now. I am using just the straight 30 air comp oil, I read on the campbell hausfeld site that 10 w 30 full synthetic was an acceptable choice also. Has anyone been running anything other than the straight 30? I was always told...

I thought they were all kind of hokey but I had a use for something and setteled for trying the Mothers. I did my wifes car and it turned out so well our friend asked if I would do hers. Her car was very yellow to the point she could hardly see at night. The Mothers took all that away and made...

    installing a mag starter

Now that I am running the starter I have my line running in connected to the L1 and L2 on the starter and one wire for the pressure switch running from L1 on the starter. Should this wire connect to the terminal marked line or motor on the pressure switch or does it matter?

    installing a mag starter

Gary I was told the motor had to have an overload protector in order not to need the starter. If the motor had the overload protector should it not have a reset button on it?
