I used my friend's BYB often before I got my Advantage. The BYB is a very good lift, yes. Having used both, I am very satisfied with the Advantage.

I used the same vent pipe that is in your photos and oriented the termination horizontal. I was able to fill the gap at the thimble with hi-temp caulk.

If you could get that cover off and make an opening into it to accept a 90 degree turndown from that PVC into the drain that should do it also.
