Bendpak Grandprix to the Backyard Buddy...

I used my friend's BYB often before I got my Advantage. The BYB is a very good lift, yes. Having used both, I am very satisfied with the Advantage.

Bendpak Grandprix to the Backyard Buddy...

Got my Advantage Lift about 4 years ago. Got the show price from Tony and picked it up myself with a friend's trailer. My 14 year old (at the time) grandson and I assembled the posts and the cross bars, etc. Then, my son and some buddies stopped over and lifted the tracks into place. My grandson...

Hung and Vented an 80,000 BTU Mr. Heater - Got a Few Questions

I used the same vent pipe that is in your photos and oriented the termination horizontal. I was able to fill the gap at the thimble with hi-temp caulk.

Help please. Need to fix drainage from furnace

If you could get that cover off and make an opening into it to accept a 90 degree turndown from that PVC into the drain that should do it also.

    Garage ceiling fan

In a 4 car garage I would recommend at least 2 fans. In the 30'x26' 2 car section of my 3 car (12.5' ceiling) I have one 64" fan that was a display model at Lowes. They were replacing it with a newer model and I got the display for $50.00. It helps in the summer, but even on high I was hoping...

    Heater Installation Cost

I installed that exact unit myself over the past summer. My NG and electric were already nearby (had it roughed in when house was built). Due to the vaulted ceiling I had to fabricate a custom mount to hang it. The CAT III horizontal vent was the greatest expense after the heater itself (About...

    Automotive Lifts

I have an Advantage 4 post lift that I bought about 3 years ago. Mainly for storage and light maintenance. I got a trolley jack from Advantage this past summer which has made most of the wheel work much more convenient - brakes, tire rotation, etc. In the attached photos, my wife's CR-V tires...

Hanging Furnace with finished vaulted ceiling

I had a similar situation; vaulted ceiling finished with drywall. I mounted angle iron on each wall of that corner and spanned 1 1/2" square tubing across. Made brackets to attach to Reznor 45K unit. Painted everything white to blend in. Tested strong enough to hold my weight before I attached...

    Mr heater condensate drain?

That is exactly what I did with my recent install. I got the same materials as the OP from Menards - that is the CAT III they carry.

roof vent or wall vent on ceiling hanger heater?

I did the Menards CAT III horizontal vent for a Reznor 45k btu NG heater. I think I was under $300...pricey, yes. I could not find source for a trim piece for the vinyl siding wall penetration. I found a roof repair panel that is 12" square and has a nailing flange and covered it with white...

    Finishing around heater vent tube

I just installed a Reznor 45K btu with a horizontal vent in 4" Cat III stainless through drywall, insulated stud wall, OSB and vinyl siding. I learned that Cat III is current code for horizontal venting. I used a wall thimble to isolate the vent pipe from combustibles. I do not know if B vent...

    Bridge Jacks

I have an Advantage 4 post and their bridge jack. The tracks have a lip/rail along the inside that the wheels of the jack engage. These are 36" apart on the 9000 lb. lift. The wheel width is adjustable on the bridge jack and would easily span 40" and would work if your lift has rails or a lip...

Trying to determine what this is

Yes, the base end is hollow. I was thinking the same thing since they are not threaded. My FIL never had any military pattern firearms of any kind, though. Mystery as to where he got this.

Trying to determine what this is

All the components store in the metal tube on the right. The flat metal blade fits into slots on the tube and can be used as a screwdriver, I assume. The brush and what looks like a gun cleaning patch holder are not threaded to mount on a rod or handle. Found this in some stuff at my FIL. He's...
