I have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DK88MXG/?tag=atomicindus08-20
And it’s amazing, but if it’s not you’re trade, a bit expensive? It’s about half the price here (~$100).
That's true, the design with the insulated footer is an evolution of the OP's (I guess OP's diagram is based on a foam based L), it stops energy leakage from the radiant floor since the footer isn't a part of the floor.
Here is a heatmap of the two different designs:
Hello, here in Sweden this kind of foundations have been used for at least 30 years. With good results. Then again It's all about your local building codes. My house and garage is built on this kind of foundation:
"Radiant heating" in the floors.
A few questions, I'm about to connect the hydraulics for my Ee-6503 but wonder about the quality of the hoses? Mine have the name of SanFeng, anyone have had problem with theirs? Wouldn't want them to fail during operation :-(
Also, I noticed one member managed to couple the hoses so that only...
I'm with the other guys. Two stage, Ariens or Toro. How much snow do you get? And is it wet/heavy?
I bought a used Honda HS970, and it's mean!... nowadays the local farmer takes care of my driveway, Honda is just sittning :-/
You know the answer :-) do it right. I wouldnt drive it like that for years :-/. The screws are holding it in place in the up/down direction and I guess rotational aswell? Does it move around if you do full left/right turns on the steering wheel?
Yes, the torsen was the differential used in Audi S1/S2/urs4 and it performed very well (had an urS4 for a few years). I belive it was let go because of either cost or fuel efficiancy demands? Perhaps both?
I've only tiled smaller areas in my house but I'll put down tile in the garage later on. What if I put down the chalk line at an offset, say 5-10 inches. That way I should be able to messure from the line without covering it up?
Maybe you could replace the bracing with something like a piece of roof tin? Say 3-4 groves that you screw to your door? Dunno about the weight though? (Added load on garage opener)
