    New sink for my garage

Right away when I saw this post I was like, "****; I'm going to have to replace that outlet." Then I looked at my pictures again and realized that I already had the GFCI outlet there; happenstance. How do you make girly drinks for the ladies over there? A long extension cord or a gas powered...

    New sink for my garage

Yep! Beer Fridge! I thought about cutting open the drywall and adding an outlet inside the cabinet, but I'll probably just run an extension cord into the utility closet where I have a free outlet. If I do this I'll drill a hole through the bottom of the cabinet to keep it clean looking. Lucas

    New sink for my garage

Thanks for the compliments guys! I've seen a lot of threads on sinks, but no one ever really seemed document their installations. I was kind of expecting more replies to this thread, but my measly sink can't compete with a $150,000 garage build. I had never built any cabinets before and had...

    New sink for my garage

This project is pretty much a continuation of my other thread where I detailed the build of the utility closet in my garage: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22763 There was already a drain in my garage for the emergency overflow for the floor heat boiler. I saw this right...

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. It turned out great; everything is almost exactly like I wanted it. I used to have all kinds of problems with my projects taking me longer to finish than I wanted. They seem to all go pretty decent now. I don't know if that's because I'm getting older...

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

Holy **** the sparkies :shocking: have descended on my thread. I almost feel like I need to take a picture with everything cleaned up/moved to prove that I don't need a surprise visit from my local electrical inspector. :) The electrical panel clearance has been noted. I already knew about...

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

Its a soft tip dart board so I shouldn't have to worry about it. I'd have to be falling over drunk to miss that bad. Meh! I'm not going to worry about it too much. I've been in the panel plenty of times since I bought the place and have never been unable to get right at the breaker that I...

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

Good thing I put a door in the wall I guess. :) The closet is large enough to easy maneuver yourself around inside. The door swings in so I literally cannot put anything behind the door (in front of the panel) and still get the door closed. I didn't even bother checking the code because I've...

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

I know how to fix this; I just don't have time right now...my boss expects me to work for my paycheck. :dunno: I'll get them fixed later, use the album for now: http://picasaweb.google.com/lucasdotcom/GarageCloset?authkey=ick8Qg0SSMQ# Lucas

New utility closet / man area for my garage.

We're having a graduation party for my girlfriend (finishing college) this weekend so I decided to try to knock out this project quick before everyone shows up. Saturday I went and picked up all of my materials and finally got building at about 4:00 ish. I should be able to finish painting...

Picture Request - OSB Interior Walls

When I bought my house the walls in my garage were already covered in OSB. If they would have been unfinished, I would have finished them in OSB. I plan on finishing the corner where the water heater, electrical panels, water softener, and filter are located. When I do this I'll be using OSB...
