Insulate the attic. Insulate the door. Since it is attached, you only have two walls left. (assuming they insulated between garage and house in 1979) See how it does, you might be surprised. Pulling drywall down, throwing up bats, and new drywall or slatwall is probably the easiest.

huh, didn't realize this was such an issue. I have never removed a restrictor or was concerned about extra pressure. Still rocking what ever the builder put in 12 years ago, and it is basic.

They have fire proof/resistant paint for spray foam. This guy built his garage in FL and did 3" spray foam and paint.

Its hard to fight science. Without a door or something to block the heat transfer, there will always be a temp difference.

I was going to suggest the bigger shower. Small showers **** is you have to use them everyday. I would turn the kitchenette and get rid of the door. I also would not want my clean clothes across from my toilet. I would figure out a way to separate the bathroom and the washer/drier.

This is for my house, but I need some help. I have a 14x10 damper where one of the spring loaded clips broke off. I need to find a replacement and keep coming up empty. The only local HVAC supply store is A/C License only. I cant believe how hard this is to find on-line.. Any suggestions?

I rely on cameras. Besides what I have, every house on my street in each direction has at least a door bell camera. Sometimes its nice to be in a neighborhood.
