Yeah, there are tons of these around(I've got big one, and two smaller), problem is that they all are cast iron, which I don't want. ;) Today best polish vises are made by http://www.bison-bial.pl/, but again all cast iron. There are very few used imported vises(even Czech York) for sale...

Guys what do you think about this vise? I need something big and forged steel, but I'm also on tight budget. Shop says it's made by Kanca but I can't find this model on their website.

Are you serious? It says 'Made in EU".:shocking: Old Eltos angle grinders had good reputation in Poland, I thought Sparky would be something reliable, but if it's PRC I'll rather buy Kress.

I wonder what _real_ capacity have new battery packs from major manufacturers. Unfortunately I don't...

Yeah, in Poland those Irwin-Joran drills have good reputation among builders, especially SDS-Plus drills. BTW, Irwin Blue Groove Power drill promo pic: http://www.irwin.dk/imagesPHIGH/IR_AP_BGPower_Action_07_L.jpg

Yes, they are importers. I guess polish tool producers are still concentrated mainly on professionals and industry: mines, ironworks etc., large customers. It's hard to compete with importers in non-professional market, there is lack of knowledge about tools and lack of something we call...
