    Knife sharpeners

I bought a Lansky sharpening kit about 20 years ago and never looked back! It came w/a variety of stones and angle-holders so you can sharpen just about anything- even razor blades! HTH, Will

Looking for any pros or cons between two four post lifts.

To the OP, Which type of lift to buy can be better answered once you've identified what you're looking to do w/it. Having owned 3 different types of lifts- a 4 post, a mid rise scissor lift, and now a 2 post, I can tell you there's pluses & minuses w/each. So, the 4 post may be a better choice...

Graded my area for new shop today

Nice. Please post some progress pics. Just a guess, but are you a Factory Five owner? I built a Mark 3 roadster, #4919 in 2005. Still have it, now with 28k miles. I'm a little more active on the ffcars forum. Regards, Will

Do you buy motor oil in bulk?

I currently have 4 different vehicles, all of which use 5 quarts & a spin on filter per change. I get a 5 qt jug & free filter combo @ AZ for +/- $20 when needed. Regards, Will

    Shower diverter valve help please

I recently dealt with what appears to be a very similar issue, too. I found this tool @ HD and it worked like a champ. Without it, there was no way I would have been able to remove that old valve without some extensive damage! HTH, Will

    Black Friday

HD has several 60 gallon vertical compressors under $500 everyday. Take another 10% off if you're retired military/veteran. Here's a link...

oil change with lift catching the oil

The midrise was the second lift I owned. After selling the 4 post in NH before moving back to Arizona, I found the midrise was the most cost effective lift option due to garage ceiling height limitations (about 8.5') w/a bedroom above. It was better than a creeper for the type of work I do...

    Black & Decker Workmate

I got one of the earlier ones new for my 15th BDay in 1978 from my sister & brother. Several moves cross-country, four houses later and I still have it & use it like any other tool in the garage! Thanks, Will

oil change with lift catching the oil

Rayjay, I started out w/a home made one when I first got a 4 post lift 10 years ago. I finally bought the HF one that others have already mentioned for short money w/a coupon a few years back, and moved on to a 2 post lift, too. Let us know what you decide. HTH, Will

2 post lift location from wall.

Yes, I park 3 cars in the garage every night. In fact, I occasionally park my 1/2 ton quad cab Ram pick up in place of one of the cars on the double-door side, no problem. If you look closely, you may also be able to make out a large Snap-on taco wagon and some wall mounted shelving along the...
