Finally! This has been 3 years coming- the lift

Well, I finally got the electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics all hooked up, not leaking, and functional. Here are some pictures/videos of the first test runs with the vette and the van. The tracker's frame is so narrow that is won't reach the platforms:mad: But:thumbup: it works very well with...

Finally! This has been 3 years coming- the lift

Unfortunately I have only had the lift for 1 and 1/2 days so I can't speak to your questions from 1st hand experience. I have a 30 gallon oil-free air compressor. The operator's manual suggest your air compressor needs a FRL (Filter, Regulator, and Lubricator). Some other forum members helped...

Finally! This has been 3 years coming- the lift

I do like it, just recycling. I do have to adjust the lights so the right side comes down the same amount as the left.:shocking: It does make the work area though:pimpflash :dunno:

Finally! This has been 3 years coming- the lift

So, I was able to use the forklift to get the lift inside the garage. Warning- forklifts are heavy, and if it is raining heavily, do not drop the drive wheels off the driveway. They will dig in and get stuck. As me how I know. 10 minutes later we were unstuck- Thanks to my dad and I using...

Finally! This has been 3 years coming- the lift

Hey guys, I've been browsing for ideas, admiring, and researching on this board for about 2 or 3 years now. A lot more lately.... My buddy Brian (speedcoach) turned me onto it. Well, late late summer/early fall I dove into my own Garage mahal on a limited budget and was pretty please with...

    water on floor

83/84 in IL and mine did the same thing today. It was a blessing in disguise as I wiped up the water with old surgical towels to clean the floor. So, still wet, but now the dirt is almost all gone! My garage is perfect, except it should be twice as big. ;-)

e-tak, jack, and dime- Thanks for your input. I'll be sure to post pictures when the lift in and operating. Jack= I really like your garage and your Porsche! Oilslick, :headscratI think that was the person who was TRYING to poke fun at my lack of knowledge, how is one supposed to learn...

    Suitor's Garage

Nice garage!!! Will the update include a lift? Also, I had an SRT8 magnum, did exhaust and intake on it. It was absolutely awesome! I really miss that car. But in winter, it was bad! So I got a used midsize suv AWD and a corvette. Really want the Magnum back too, but not enough garage space:(

    Pre-lift research, question....

Hello guys, this is my 1st thread that I've started on this forum. First off, I must say I am addicted to the garage gallery looking for ideas my my humble 3 car garage in a normal Chicago suburban neighborhood. My plans are to get a mid-rise scissors lift from Greg Smith...
