I have a 3 1/2 HP 230v. 15 amp air compressor I need to wire in. I have a disconnect box that I had my old welder wired to that has #6 wire coming from a 50 amp circuit breaker in the main box. Can I use that circuit, or do I have to rewire with a smaller gauge and smaller breaker/ Any help...
