I'm looking into purchasing a new miter saw to be used around the house. I have read reviews that dewalt is the way to go, but is it really worth the extra money? Does anyone have any recommendations? Any thoughts on this Craftsman miter saw...

I just purchased the 1/4" and ordered the 3/8" premium ratchets on sale. Sears sold out of the premium ratchets the following day. Is was thinking about getting the 1/2". Does anyone recommend applying oil/lube on them? Or is that just a dumb question?

I just picked up the dewalt 20v impact driver and I'm pleased with it.... So far.

I currently carry the Leatherman Wave, but I was looking into purchasing a Kershaw knife. Any thoughts of Smith and Wesson?

I was thinking of buying the craftsman set.
