Craftsman Miter Saw

I'm looking into purchasing a new miter saw to be used around the house. I have read reviews that dewalt is the way to go, but is it really worth the extra money?

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've got a craftsman i've been using for years with no problems. I wish it was a sliding, but it's not. That seems to be a decent price on it.
