Yep i will just return these... I was really excited to get them since these were the only USA made flare that i could find and they were within my price range and its new. I guess i will shop used SO on ebay... when shopping SO on ebay, anything to watch out for?

So in general i should avoid chrome plated tools ? are most hand tools chrome?

SK 378 flare wrench set arrived chipped!! bad quality I got a new set of SK 378 in the mail today from AMZ. I am so disappointed. The chrome paint is already all chipped in the flare socket part. :shocking: is this normal? i can see the grey primer below the chrome. should i return these? are...

HiBall, Thanks for the pics. I am glad I bought my 93642. Since you know much about jacks, I have only used my HW 1-2 in the past 2-3 years... is there anything i can do to keep the seals wet inside? or it does not matter? will the top part of the seal dry out since it is not soaked in the oil...

which models has this "poly u-cup?" do you have a picture of what it looks like? what about the HW models? are they poly u cup ?
