I bought a Steinel heat gun for work. It’s been a flawless tool for many years now. The digital display allows you to dial in the desired temp.

I purchased some hazet tools from Jens Putzier a few years ago. I couldn’t find better prices and shipping was quick. Not sure what his prices are like now but worth a look.

If I remember correctly, I think Jens was even a member here.
I have found the exact same thing with the gold snap-on. I have an old regular Mac torx set that I keep as backup to my gold snap-on and find I use them more then the snap-on. I might have to check these new Mac ones out.
I don’t have a pick of my nanos in action as I am off work with a broken hip. I am coming up two years with both the 1/2 and 3/8 metric and I use them all the time. Perfect for getting in tight spots and I have never had an issue with them. Super pleased with the purchase.

A second battery is not an option in these cases. I know on some of the new w222 S classes, if they don't see a steady 14v and 30 plus amps the module will not program. I don't think I would want to risk a few thousand dollar computer hoping a deep cycle battery would be sufficient.
I have looked into this issue. I program Mercedes which aren't as current hungry as the bimmers. I have found that a lot of techs are using the 90amp Iota power supplies. The cheapest I have found them is from these guys...
Isn't the snap-on EECT900 a power probe 4 in a different package? When my dealer showed it to me a few weeks ago I didn't see anything it could do that the power probe 4 couldnt
And if you watch any of Dan Sullivan's angry videos, I believe he shows one in which a power probe 4 uses a...
