    if you pour one large slab as per the design, how is the mudsill/bottom plate waterproofed? Isn't there a high chance for water to get under the bottom plate

    Adapting a 4" box to Single Gang

    I am trying not to disturb the drywall. Hoping someone might have run into this and had a simple solution. Call me lazy, but I want to avoid patching, sanding, priming, and painting if at all possible. Plus if I needed to switch back to a dryer plug, then I would have to do it all over again...

    I currently have 220v running to a 4" box metallic box nailed to the stud. The 4" box has a two gang 5/8" mudring on top. On top of the mudring is 5/8 sheetrock finished so that the mudring is flush with the sheetrock. I would like to install a 30A twist lock outlet that fits a single gang...
