That's what I did. Strapped the diesel tank from our old tractor to my HF cement mixer and let er rip. It worked ok, would have been better if I could have slowed it down a little
Interesting, thanks! I'm not totally sold on continuous loop being the right solution for me but its good to know that it doesn't automatically drive the bill through the roof.
I'm going to try a grundfos pump at the heater feeding into the drain port. I'll use a timer to energize the pump...
I was able to remove the leaking bung on my compressor tank. It took mapp gas and a 3/4" impact wrench with a huge socket. The bung was wrecked in the process.
If yours isn't leaking I would leave it alone. Or be sure you can source a replacement for it ahead of time. Mine used an oring...
I'm intrigued by the guys who've said that a 24/7 passive loop didn't make a noticeable difference in the gas/heating bill.
It seems like that would be hugely inefficient, with the water heater running a whole lot. How is that not driving the bill way up?
Mine has 3 or 4 different settings too. I generally leave it in high and use the trigger to modulate. Every now and then I'll turn it down if I'm working on something delicate, like screwing electrical outlets down in their boxes.
Don't worry about trying to always choose the right setting...
I think the real value is in learning to design things with cad, and then carrying through to a physical prototype right from your desk with minimal fuss and mess. Need a clip bracket for your belt? Design it yourself and print it up. Make it cool, add a pattern or a personal touch. It's the...
Good thread, it's cool to see how many guys here have added the 3rd function. I've been debating it... I use pallet forks for tree cleanup and general brush hauling now. I think a grapple would be cool, but I'm not sure it's worth the cost for me.
I've been interested in the elegoo too. It seems like a competitor to the bambu p1 at a lower price. I would have already ordered a Bambu, but I don't like this "walled garden" ecosystem they seem to be pursuing. That's against the spirit of 3d printing and open source engineering in...
I like Makita s battery strategy - one pack, dozens of tools. I have four identical batteries that run everything from my drill to my chainsaw and everything in between.
But if I were starting over again today the Milwaukee 12v line does look pretty nice.
Nice, I'm looking to reside my place this year and I might use that same product line. Please let us know how it goes. Were you able to order it easily? Some of the places around here carry the flat boards but I'm not sure where to get the specialty pieces
