How about using industrial rubber flooring mats in yellow and just cut to size and glue in.

Thanks guys. Great info, as usual. I love the look of it more that it's usability. Psiber, I think you are right on. Just clean it and hang it on the wall for a cool addition to the garage.

I recently picked up this Craigslist find, wall mounted drill press from Goodell & Pratt. I tried to find out some more info on this, but cant seem to locate any comparable models. Has anyone seen another like this? I'm not sure if I will keep it as-is, or make an attempt at restoring the old...
