if it were mine i would build it to pass code as well,but i would improve on the code in a few areas, because passing code is the minimum requirement, like passing school with a "D." doing things the right way is always cheaper than doing it again...

ever watch the tv show holmes on homes or holmes inspection with mike holmes? you should see all the stuff that gets missed on inspections...
