I have Swisstrax Ribtrax smooth. I love the flow through Design and have never, ever wished that they were solid. I'm happy that I'm not encumbered by a heavy level of OCD like others who worry about dirt on the concrete below the tiles.
Love my Swisstrax ribtrax smooth and simply could not be happier. When I work on the cars, I just put plastic real estate sign panels under the jack and jack stands.
Zero mold issues with my Swisstrax Ribtrax Smooth. Dirt, however, drops through the tiles and under the floors. Complete non-issue that the wet "dirt"/debris holds moisture and creates mold. I do have a minisplit in the garage, so it's climate-controlled.
Nextzett plastic cleaner is the way to go and works on carpet, headliners, plastic, etc. It will safely remove stains that other cleaners can't touch.

If you're worried about bits of gravel, I would try a robot vacuum cleaner. I run it on my Swisstrax Smooth, and although I don't have to worry about gravel, it picks up leaf debris just fine.
I went with Swisstrax because they have the Swisstrax Smooth, a far more eye-pleasing visual pattern than the Ribtrax or the Race Deck stuff. Floor jacks roll super-easily. The Swisstrax pulls apart in an exceptionally easy manner, great for vacuuming or finding lost parts.
I didn't even bother...
We have four different robot vacuum cleaners, one of which is in the garage. Works great for picking up leaves and tire debris off of our Swisstrax floor. It was a unit we bought on Amazon for around $325 or so. Can’t recall. Has an app so that you can start it remotely.
