I have Swisstrax Ribtrax smooth. I love the flow through Design and have never, ever wished that they were solid. I'm happy that I'm not encumbered by a heavy level of OCD like others who worry about dirt on the concrete below the tiles.

Love my Swisstrax ribtrax smooth and simply could not be happier. When I work on the cars, I just put plastic real estate sign panels under the jack and jack stands.

I used a power miter box with a fine blade to cut my Swisstrax. Worked great.

Zero mold issues with my Swisstrax Ribtrax Smooth. Dirt, however, drops through the tiles and under the floors. Complete non-issue that the wet "dirt"/debris holds moisture and creates mold. I do have a minisplit in the garage, so it's climate-controlled.

If you're worried about bits of gravel, I would try a robot vacuum cleaner. I run it on my Swisstrax Smooth, and although I don't have to worry about gravel, it picks up leaf debris just fine.

I went with Swisstrax because they have the Swisstrax Smooth, a far more eye-pleasing visual pattern than the Ribtrax or the Race Deck stuff. Floor jacks roll super-easily. The Swisstrax pulls apart in an exceptionally easy manner, great for vacuuming or finding lost parts. I didn't even bother...
