I put up 4 lvl’s as the king studs going up vertically. They are screwed in with structural screws and tied in very well at the top.

No hinge effect here. The wall is very very strong.

The gable wall isn’t the issue. It’s the second scissor truss in that’s the issue. I put up the gable wall. The peak is off quite bad on the second truss in.

I agree. So many issues here. But trying to move forward. One of the mending plates wasnt even installed on one of the trusses heels. I will ask.

How we placed the scissor after the standard. We will have to figure out how to place a ledge for the Sheetrock to catch onto on the standard truss.

It is not in the truss plan. We only received center and gable trusses.

We are going to figure that out this morning. Any recommendations?

Thank you for all the reply guys. Me and my friend put up all my standard trusses today. I framed out the gable end rake. I ended up doubling up the 2x on the gable end overhang so the r6 will **** up to it and then the next set of 2x for the overhang will be able to catch the vinyl soffit. My...

No I put up the diagonal bracing up a day after the pictures were taken. I just stood the walls up and did minor bracing for the night.
