    No I put up the diagonal bracing up a day after the pictures were taken. I just stood the walls up and did minor bracing for the night.

    Yes. I put diagonal bracing on each wall every 12’ or so.

    Another thing I just thought of. If I balloon frame, what’s keeping the exterior walls from kicking out since there’s no double top plate under the scissor truss?

    Regarding my scissor truss gable end engineering plans. Is my gable end scissor truss being delivered with a flat bottom piece of lumber on it? It’s being delivered Monday and I’m trying to wrap my head around it. I circled the piece in question.

    Setting trusses and then putting the sheathing on. I need to attach the strong backs on the backside to catch the gable end and secure it for the time being. I’m getting a small crane and it doesn’t have the reach from the front to drop it on the back. Especially if I have that wall up. So...
