Thanks. I found the garage door used it was inside a bar and never saw the elements. It sat in my garage for a year before I got through the city's hoops. It's amazingly tight in the cold. The setback door, while it eats up floor space, provides a nice refuge when I have a armload of stuff and...
Thank you! First cabinets I ever built. Just watched some Youtuber vids and found a style I liked then designed them in Sketchup. Here's the OG sketchup design.
Finished building this cabinet for the new shop. Happy with how it turned out except for the grey trim I put around the top. JUst too damn busy. I'll probably replace that with 1/2 masonite to match the top.
So here's where we're at now. Outside is done. I have a Reznor heater installed and the guys are mudding the drywall. Cant wait to prime paint hang the lights and start moving **** in.
The Reznors have threaded 3/8 holes in the top to suspend them with unistrut and allthread. My install is like this but the unistrut is sitting on top of the joists so you dont see them.
Good call. The allthread does move a bit as it's held in with those spring nuts. I did turn them in all the way to meet the solid top part of the unistrut but locking them in with a nut and washer is probably a good idea. Hope that doesnt jack up the position of the allthread too much.
