    AA Battery Charger

If you haven't used it in a long time there might be some corrosion on the contacts. Use an INK eraser to clean the contacts and wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol.

    garage extension

What you describe kind of sounds like a body shop I worked at years ago. The paint shop was wider on higher ground and the body shop was long and narrow on lower ground. Are you planning to connect the 2 buildings with a common roof or separate buildings?

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

There are some regulations for building and zoning as well. Part of our farm we can build a house but other parts of it we cannot. We really don't have to worry too much about the requirements and restrictions since we are so far from the city but if there is ever a problem it can normally be...

New build mini split: Mitsu vs Mr Cool

That seems pretty expensive to me for installation, split type AC units are pretty straight forward. I've never heard of Mr Cool but as far as Mitsubishi, that is what most AC techs recommend for reliability

We can own condos but land we need to create a dummy company which has at least 51% Thai ownership and the company owns the property. the way the proxy system is setup even though you only own 49% your vote will always be a majority. There are some other oddball ways to own like if your wife...

    สวัสดี from Thailand

Low cost of living is a big factor and I don't like cold weather. Also I'd be lying if I said the women didn't influence my decision.

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

This is the house we are in now. It's on low ground and floods often during rainy season. That's mainly what made me stray so far from the original plan. Just behind the garage where the coconut tree is I want to build a kitchen, then behind that I'll build a separate bedroom then I can have...

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

Will definitely have A/C on the 2nd floor. I won't have it in the main garage yet since the front is completely open. Later on I'll probably put in a front wall with a roll up door, when I do that I'll look into A/C there. We can get some pretty cold nights in January and February but its...

Thanks! It is quite exciting. Can't wait to get the Willys in there, that's when the fun starts.

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

Last year I cut down a few Red Ironwood trees at the farm to clear space for some cacao trees. My wife's brother is making stairs to the 2nd floor and doors for the living space and the inside utility room door. The shot from the back shows the 3 rooms, on the left is the shower, the *******...

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

As I said before, I planned on making it 3 meters high but was thinking if I get a lift I want to make sure there is plenty of overhead space so I added another meter. After the concrete was poured I was checking out the shower area and was thinking that 4 meter is a pretty high ceiling for a...

    New build in Northeast Thailand.

Greetings I made a brief introduction on the introduction page, but I will give a more detailed intro here. Seems fitting, a garage is a reflection of the man's personality. I grew up in MD and worked a bit doing auto body repair and painting, metal fabrication building stake bed trucks, and a...

    สวัสดี from Thailand

Hiyas, retired Navy here, settled in Thailand and now I am nearly finished building my new garage and am getting excited to start outfitting it with some new gear. I was researching about welding tables when I found this site. I wish I found it a few months ago before I started building...
