I did acid stain in the basement. The PIC don't do it justice. I bought the lightest color stain from CONCRETEDEPOT.NET and mixed it 2 parts water to 1 part stain. This way I could really control the color, once it is to dark your done, but you can alway make it darker with additional coats...

I put SW Tile Clad in our kennel. For the most part it has held up well. The one run that has the most active dog in it has a few spots scratched off now after 4 years. I just put epoxy down, no top coat.

All I can say is we used it in the kennel. It has held up well and still has a nice finish despite some abuse. Was thinking I would continue it out in the garage, but am waiting for the idea to catch up with my pocketbook.

I am considering this floor as an option. One concern I have is right adjacent to the garage is the Kennel. Radiant floor supply and return lines run under the garage floor to get to the kennel. This has 2 effects: 1) The garage stays pretty warm, rarely below 55. I question if the builder...

The Mobil look is great. My dad was a Mobil Executive for 44 years. We had Flying red horse (pegasus) stuff all over when I was a kid. If I knew then what I know now I would collected the stuff to set up a great looking shop.
