By the way, those ramps are removable. There is a rod that holds them in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have my ramps almost up to the door as well. Less space in the back of the car but it works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MRCOOL DIY Mini Split, Seriously, I Think...

Thanks. I saw it done somewhere and thought it was an excellent idea. I have a French drain there so not worried about it pooling up during the summer when COOL is used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here you go, Did 1 side of the linekit cover and will be doing the back another day this week/weekend. Used a 4” set that works out real well. Don’t worry the lineset isn’t resting on the gutter :-p Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bend pak lift

This is what I kind of went by for my HD-9. The second picture shows some good guidelines. You essentially have to stand there and mark out the full length of the lift, length-wise and width-wise and pretend a car is there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got a HD-9 in my 21wide by 23long garage and it’s perfect. The ramps start at the beginning of the entrance and there is plenty of space up front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Checked in there tonight and it’s a very nice 70 degrees in the garage. Temp on unit/remote is set at 74. It helps that it got up to high 50’s outside today as well. Will see how it is when it gets colder and colder. This should also test my insulation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MRCOOL DIY - E1 Error Code

It was a loose wire inside the outside compressor. I think it was some transmitter wire. After we plugged that in it all started working! Now I have a new spare motherboard just in case :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also, As soon as my line sets covers come I will come up with a good way to cover the lines and extend them out where there aren’t many coils, if any. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had an HVAC guy come over. He found that one of the wires on some transmitter inside the outside compressor wasn’t connected. Plugged that in and it all started working. Now I got heat!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MRCOOL DIY Mini Split, Seriously, I Think...

Just ordered one of these. Not only is it wide enough to go through 3 studs 16” apart, it looks like it has more space to move the unit further from the wall. Looks VERY sturdy (supports up to 500 lbs). https://www.h-mac.com/quick-sling-qswb4000.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am on Sunday actually. Will update what they say. Need them to check all the wiring anyway. Not sure what you mean about the line set slope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
