Also thought of the adhesive and sheetrock straight on top, mu other issue is how to get outlets and light switches with out framing. I assume I could cut the outlet boxes into the cement recessed.

I was thibking of going that route, 1" strips an sheet rocking on top. But do I need to wait a certain amount of time to let the concrete cure after it's been poured?

So my garage is under way and for the most part the first floor is pretty much all or 3/4 under grade leaving the concrete slab all around the inside of my garage. Looking for options instead of sheetrock and framing to save that space as we were limited to 22 ft wide on the build due to...

Thank you. I am not trying to base my decision off the the estimate of the price. Just really trying to get a feel of a ballpark range. I do trust my contractor's work and have seen a few of his garages. currently the price of the build with all site work, excavation, electrical, heat & plumbing...

I understand that, I am in NY so typically everything is always more. I am just trying to get a basic sense of where a cost should be for something like this. Even if within a 10-20% range of that cost.

I am not in this field of work, would rather have someone qualified to do the work.

Finally getting something going here. Here's my first blueprint. Hope you guys can see the picture clearly. The garage will be 22w x28d. With a loft upstairs. 10ft cathedral ceiling on one side to fit a 4 post lift. Cedar outside with shake on front and stone veneer accents half way up front...
