    Added a sink to my garage this weekend!

    After my house flooded , we had all of the sheet rock pulled out so it was easy to plumb in a sink like that one in my garage . It backs up to an existing bathroom behind it so it was a no brainer . Very handy .

    The op is splicing #2 wire . I wouldn't bother with ductseal . Layer it up with some 88 and don't worry about it .

    I come from the utility world and I've seen ductseal used on " medium " voltage bolted connections prior to taping. If I remember correctly it was on some power transformer bushing connectors . 6.9kv bus .

    Just for the sake of discussion , the spec. for a GFCI is 4 - 6 milliamps of current differential will cause it to trip . This is below the threshold for possible cardiac issues .

    Most of the time when I take a nail out of the box the head is on the wrong end . I have a whole bucket of defective nails .
