Columbian 204-1/2 Swivel Base? I'm considering buying a Columbian 204-1/2, but the swivel base is chipped out around all three mounting points. Strange. Is the base a no-obtanium part these days? Thanks! M -- MPLS.

Beware! Inadvertently touching AC while in DC setting will not produce a good result. My other meters just ignore AC if in DC setting. The item pictured is the old design. Go to GB website and you'll see the new design, in which the inputs are horizontally arranged. Also, "off" exists at both 9...

I noticed some very pretty blue dust under C4 and C6 on the motherboard of this little gem. I thought, "Maybe red will work better than black!" Sure enough!
