Honda Crank Bolt - Using Old High (Mid by Today Standards) Torque Impact, Will it be Enough?

For the Honda V6 I use a breaker bar braced to the floor and bump the starter. No special sockets

How would you plastic weld this cracked thin plastic headlight lens/housing?

If it isn't exposed I would use some flex tape or other rubberized take like a window flashing tape to apply over the crack. with material that thin I doubt you will be able to weld or seal the crack so just cover it. Maybe drill stop the crack at the ends before you cover it.

Missing Key For Excel Metal Cabinet

It may be easier to replace the whole lock rather than just the key. Cam locks are cheap and easy. Yes you will need to pick it but my guess is it can be picked within a minuet with a rake and a tension rod by any novice.

    Vevor "customer support"

My customer support from Vevor was mixed. I ordered a plate compactor from them, ~ $400 for a new unit delivered; heck it beat horrible freight by ~$250 at the time. The compactor smoke heavily from the second I started the machine, even after break in oil and letting it form for 30 min to...

For a home mechanic what brand of home auto mechanic’s tools would you recommend?

I 100% agree. Last week at Carlisle I bought a 1/4 challenger proto socket set for $5 and a new set of nice polished Herbrand metric angle head wrenches for $5. I was at Hershey today and will be out there the part of the day the next two days since it is practically on my back yard There is...

    I saw a unicorn today!

Comming back from church with the family at about 11 am on Sunday I happen to notice a Cornwell truck go by while we were stopped at a traffic light. I never would have thought to see a tool truck out on Sunday let alone a Cornwell one!

    Chainsaw Questions- 80V Greenworks

Dirt does = dull chain in my experience but not total death, unless you keep running them hard after being dull. Maybe try soaking the chains in diesel/kerosene to see if the links may loosen and clean the chain. b I like the Stihl 2 in 1 file guide. They are easy to keep in you pocket/saw...

    Chainsaw Questions- 80V Greenworks

As a starting point....fill the saw with bar oil. Get a large piece of cardboard. Point the tip of the saw towards the cardboard and run the saw for ~30 seconds. Is there a line on the cardboard from the bar oil? No line of oil on the cardboard mean you have a problem. If you have a...

We’re Proto challenger wrenches on the longer side or?

This seems like a trick question. I just checked my trunk set of these wrenches. The 13mm I have is a 6113m ( no L prefix) it is the satin version ( maybe that is the prefix? or the length). But i am thinking L6114m would be a 14mm wrench. Anyway my 13 mm is ~18.5cm in length.

    Patching a fender liner.

Flex tape? Gorilla tape? Zip flashing tape? Are you wanting functional or beautiful? Any type of heavier tape from two sides should be functional, but not beautiful.

Tax credit on self installed Geothermal, whos done it?

I looked into doing a geothermal self install when our last system died; however I went with a contractor installed system. For me the cost of tools such as HDPE fuser and the flush cart exceeded any incremental savings from a self install. Normally I would sign up for buying the tools but...
