Here's my bootleg Snappy. Been using it everyday since last summer. It doesn't fully flex but locks tight in a bent handle position. I made a 2nd one also a couple months back.. that one flexes fully with no modifcations.
Head is the regular Pittsburgh pro flex heads and the bottom handle of...
I'd only get the 12v system if you already have 18v and know what you're getting. 2 years ago I decided to try out the M12 brushed Milwaukee set for a good deal and it came with a free cordless ratchet. I tested it out that night before I went to work and it was too slow and barely enough power...
I'm not breaking as many Milwaukee 1/4"-3/8 adapters or Makita gold bits.. or 6mm allen sockets lately.. so could definitely use them but I wish they had a 2 pack for $100.
Anyone know the detioration rate of these batteries? I run mine about half dead 5 days a week. And my 1 5.0ah is not...

Not sure if that's common on a well used and abused M18 drill...
I hear ya. Just picked up a beat up lead hammer a few weeks ago and am loving it thus far. Plan on casting a smaller one for my work toolkit.
If I had the space, I'd be in the same position.
And you are right about ratchets. I've been in a situation where 2 was needed with 15mm deep wells on...
Man I sure was cracking up when I saw how you proudly sealed that window up. I thought that'd be something only I would do!
First off, separate a lot of them doubles from your toolbox. No way you need the cheap finish hammer, husky hammer, 4 copper hammers, etc.
Same with ratchets and pliers...
