    Snap On tool box alternative

Resurrecting an old thread, but I got mine from Snappy. Is it expensive? YES! For me, is it worth it, double YES. I've got more than enough to do my job and then some. Even shadowed I still have some room for expansion. FWIW, I work as a line mechanic for a major airline.

    1/2 and 3/8 Techangle's

$250 for the small one and $300 for the big'n. Both have been owned by me since new. They were kept secure in my box which was kept indoors. Very little use from either. Always wiped down and cleaned, truly they look new. Includes case, calibration certificate, and manual. Shipping will be...

    KRA21C update

$200.00, which to me seemed fair as the removed the hasp and then filled in the holes to where ya can't tell they were there. The paint is PPG ASU370 as it's supposed to be durable and the color I used was called "Safety Red" which is a near identical match for the factory paint.

    KRA21C update

Back from paint & body, and the result is exactly what I was looking for. Someone had told me that the handle can be ordered for approx $20 (ish). Not sure what I will be using it for, but will be displaying some vintage snap-on tools I guess.

    Bar Build

Not exactly sure where the best place for this is, but I'm posing it here as this section seems to get the most traffic and Mods are free to move as appropriate. Literally as soon as I finished building my covered deck I set to work on building a bar as I always wanted one. NO plans to follow...

    Another ID this box please.

Free box and I got while working in Chicago a few months ago, and now it's finally at a local body shop getting repainted. I can't find a mondel# or a S/N# anywhere. I have no plans on selling it, nor to be honest have no idea exactly what I will use it for either. Kewl box as there are two...

    Help me identify this please

Can’t find the model/serial #’s. How heavy? Heavy enough that I can barely move it by myself short of skidding it along in the floor. Tomorrow starts my off days. I won’t be back at work until one week from today. It’s sitting in a safe/secure spot. Also, the key I ordered won’t be here...

    Help me identify this please

Miss the Pontiacs: I work a mechanic for a regional airline. Fedwrench:: The story is...there is none. People that have been there 8+ years don't ever remember seeing anyone near it. And some more of the same for the other boxes that were on top/front if it. There was a 2007 calendar on...

    Help me identify this please

This was found at my work under a pile of trash and the big cheese said to make it go away...so I did. Feels like there are **some** tools inside, but it's locked (and heavy) I am working at this location for about another 5 months so it will be awhile before I am able to start a restoration...

    Mantis Tool Grid

Even though I have the tool grid on my socket drawer, if ya notice in my origional post I am also using Hansen trays for the regular sockets and tool grid pegs for the others. For me, and what I use my tools for the Hansen trays are 2nd to none.

    Mantis Tool Grid

Ton ton - Yes, those are sockets. There is a 1 3/4, 3", 3 1/8", and 2 3/4". They are used for for wheel/tire changes.

    Mantis Tool Grid

Surprisingly I've not seen much discussion on here regarding this product. For someone that's OCD or everything in it's place it's tailor made for them. The mats as I call them are essentially a plastic pegboard and then with the various holders it makes for awesome organization, and so easy...
