Tips to save money on tools

Not sure what you mean. If you are referring to my age, yes I am 16. That doesn't mean I can't do a little small engines work. I have been working from probably around the age of 5 with my dad.

Tips to save money on tools

I have been a small engines mechanic (unofficially) for as long as I can remember. I work from home, but I do have a pretty nice shop set up. I only work with quality tools like Gray Canada, belzer, gedore, craftsman, and westward, etc. I have found that if you look at flea markets, garage...

    Best quality hip knife?

No way. It is just a tool for the cottage, when I'm out cutting down trees etc. I use it for general purpose cutting.

    Best quality hip knife?

Those knives of Alaska look like great working knives. Some people collect, but I use. If it doesn't function efficiently, I don't want it.

    Best quality hip knife?

Utilitarian is what I like. Quality steel (carbon steel if I can) and for a reasonable price. I'll have to have a look at the brands you mentioned.

    Best quality hip knife?

    Best quality hip knife?

I carry either my Hele 5 inch blade, or one of my Mora knives. Does anyone know of any better quality knives out there. These Mora and heles have been the best I have found yet.

    Why Buy Snap-on?

I was just wondering why my fellow mechanics all buy snap on and blue point. It Seems like a waste of money to me, because I have had the same set of Gray Canada wrenches for all the time I have been working, and even the chrome is still good on them. My mechanic friends complain about broken...

    My favourite brands for mechanics

I forgot to mention, they have been ground on the bottom by the previous owner. This may be why they grip so well for me.
