As an aside; Remove the knob on the manual release, thieves pry the top seam enough to grab the knob with wire or a tool. Why have a remote, when a tug on the knob,opens the door?

If you can buy, it look for the numbers SN60 or SN63 Rosin core solder,it's a preferred solder for aviation work.

Outlets can fail, especially ones not made in the U.S. back stabbed are quick to install but problematic as time goes by,I always use the side terminal screws, with the "Hook" bent around the screw body, then tightened the screw.

I would follow the cleaning with Alodine, and then paint if possible. Auto paint suppliers should have clear and the gold colored Alodine.

Price it first,have an electric motor shop replace the bearings, then you've got a spare motor?

Glue up the various sizes of PVC pipe,to make an adapter, or as mentioned, have a 3D machine owner make one for you?

My late father fought a wet basement for years,until he thought "Enough".so he dug down around the concrete block wall of the house we had in Iowa, in the middle 50's to early 60's,and applied a tar like sealant,a lot of work,but the basement remained dry after all his work.

Leeson or Marathon electric motors would be my guess....

The Alcohol in today's gas, may make the rubber gas supply hoses swell internally. Replace them and see...
