Swapped out my old bench and moved this one in. Now I'm happy.

My 1950's Homecraft. Has never let me down. Inherited from my father who bought it new. It is the only drill press that I have ever owned and have been using it since I was 7 years old.

I picked this old workbench last weekend, complete with vices and 100 years worth of grease& grime. After spending a bit of time on it, I think it turned out pretty good. It's now ready to be put to use. The wagon tongue vise will come in quite handy.

Yes, it is a nice old bench and had seen a lot in its 100 or so years. I'm stripping the top of its grease, grime, oil and god knows what else. Once I get down to the lumber I'll seal it and call it done.

Sorry again. Being old, needing new glasses, and trying to do this on a iPhone, the combination is maddening.
