    Wazer table top waterjet machine

The abrasives are the downside, and it sounds like that machine uses more than a traditional waterjet machine. The kickstarter page says abbrasives will be $0.60-1.10 a pound, that sprocket they cut used 31 pounds and took 98 minutes to cut. Now if you are cutting soft materials, such as...

    Good, local wire crimpers

I have a set of Greenlee ratching crimpers, best crimpers I have ever used. I've since tried a few other brands, and so far they have all fell short in comparison. I have a set of dies for insulated, and a set for non insulated connectors. This picture was when I first got them, I just grabbed...

Welding Question - Voids after grinding smooth

pulling, circles. I'll try pushing, thanks. I always forget the proper directions. By pulling, am I blowing to much gas into the weld? Or is it a heat thing? I'll watch the video after work.

Radio Shack reportedly preparing to shut down.

I started filling mine up a bit yesterday. One will be for abrasive wheels, and boxes of hardware. The other I will be using for CNC tooling storage. First drawer is filled with Roloc wheels. Next one with 4.5" flap discs, cutoff discs, and grinding discs. I have another with all of my...

Radio Shack reportedly preparing to shut down.

I just picked up two of the 7 drawer units for 175, had to buy what was left inside them to take them home today. But the led unit and crimp connectors unit were both pretty well picked over, and most of what was worth having. I feel that they were worth the 87.50 a piece. They are a good depth...

    Rocksolid floor install

I used a kit from legacy industrial for the book of the patch work. Of course I missed a few small spots. I am going to try rock solids 2 part patch kit for the remaining spoots. The legacy kit worked great, and I would order it again for larger repairs. I will be using rock solids garage for...

    Rocksolid floor install

Finally decided to coat my floor after 3 years of being here. Of course that means I had 3 years to fill the garage with **** as well... So I will have to do the floor in 2 sections so that I can move stuff around. Here are the items that I I have to keep in the garage. 44" HF Tool chest with...

Steel Prices. How are they calculated?

The steel yard I go to charges by weight, and had cut charges. If you buy a full length sick, you get one cut for free. If you only need a short piece, finding a drop is cheaper since you do not need to pay to have it cut.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I got my free parts washer working after several months of ignoring it in the corner. Someone fitted a small AC motor to the pump, and with that motor the lid would not close all the way. I debated buying a new modern pump, or some how offsetting the ac motor and having it belt powered. I...

House 110v wont run Husky compressor

Is it tripping the breaker? And how cold is it where you run the compressor? I've seen smaller 110v compressors struggle to run when cold.
