Humidity control: what to do first?

You could always buy a used known working dehumidifier and see what happens. No matter what you do if the walls aren't sealed properly you're not going to get optimal performance out of whatever you're running.

Replace decking or also framing for 20 year old deck?

Expecting it to last 50 years is like expecting shingles to last their stated life span. It rarely lasts that long. Maybe I missed it but I don't receall seeing anywhere where he actually said the size of the deck. Looking at his other post to try to find that I see stairs involved and with the...

Replace decking or also framing for 20 year old deck?

it also doesn't make sense to replace the framing if there's nothing wrong with it.

Seeking info on Husky Pro Made in Canada Toolboxes

Beach was known to make some but again that's not the style they made. That is the correct looking phone number so it was probably something through Stanley. They would have had other sources also and Beach wasn't the only company making boxes in Canada. I can't find a picture but when they...

Seeking info on Husky Pro Made in Canada Toolboxes

They were owned by Stanley but that's not the style of box Beach made. In either case check out what similar ones in size go for locally, they'd be typical used box value and it can be surprising what things go for, both high and low.

    Plug wired to compressor

It's hard to believe an electrician did that. A backyard hack could do a better job then that

    Air compressor recommendation needed

Not really, go by price and check the specs to make sure you're not getting one that has lower specs then the rest but they're usually pretty much all the same compressor only painted different colors with different names on them. I bought mine used, looked like new.

That wasn't made by Beach. They didn't make make boxes that looked like that.

Replace decking or also framing for 20 year old deck?

If the framing is still good don't bother replacing it. If some of it is rotted or bad fix it. If a lot of it is bad go all new. I wouldn't even be thinking about it until you've started to pull the decking off and see what it's really like, unless you already know there are issues.

Any regular store bought 60 gallon compressor will work for what you're doing, don't need anything special.

    Coil spring compressor

I have one of those too. It takes up space but is the only one unless you get into the big buck ones that I'd want to use.

How come common metric sets only go to 19mm but common sae sets run to 1” which would be 25mm?

I was wondering when I wrote my last post if Eurpoe might be the opposite and go higher in metric as the norm. That pretty much confirms it.

Humidity control: what to do first?

When you get moisture on the floor after opening a door that's usually from the temperature or humidity differences between inside and outside the same way a car can cover in in that condensation film when you drive it inside or outside at times, usually more noticable from parking garages or in...

    Wet spot (on garage floor)

Are you sure it's not coming from the car like condensation from AC or leak? Usually when it's from below the slab the slab discolors from having moisture in it and doesn't puddle like that. Does it show up if you don't park inside?
