I don’t think that will have slides. The drawers will just be friction type. That’s not a bad thing for a box in a vehicle. Personally would pass because I wouldn’t be able to fit anything in there.

I have a hip roof garage. I installed the batts (Rock wool) from below. What a pain in the ****. I ended up having to make strapping to hold the batts up, 2 for each cavity. The batts were not perfectly sized. I would never do that again. Poly, sheet, and blow in from attic. The machine is free...
That is a very nice setup. I like that! Have you used it to align a mitre saw? I.e. does it always depend on having a magnetic base to attach to?

22x24, OSB walls. Caulked the joints and put on two gallons of kills. It was white enough that I didn’t bother painting it. That was 6 years ago and nothing bad has happened. Well except for the mudjacking sinking back to where it was and that money down the drain.

I’ve been looking at the woodpeckers tool for that, but the next post down looks very interesting. I’d like to have something that has more than one use. I was contemplating a starret 12” slide square, and attaching a dial indicator somehow. Maybe that’s not going to do it though.

That looks awesome! Is that setup in your basement? That’s where mine is going for the time being (Canada winter and only electric heat in garage). I’d rather make a poly room for dust issues in the house than run out to the cold garage through the snow)

Very nice on the unisaw. Stuff like that doesn’t come up for sale around here. Just a matter of population. That spent blade/cartridge sitting on top of the saw in the pic is engraved with a local high school’s name. A sales tool of sorts I suppose.

I upgraded to the 36”. I also ordered the dust collection blade guard - but not the arm setup. I think I am going to run a hose from my CT (long one) for the top collection and my shop vac for the back of the saw. It’s a poor mans dust collector... have to see how that works out I suppose...
I don’t trust anything in my shop. I treat tools as if they are trying to kill me. I am the softest thing in the shop. I keep that in mind always. My neighbor must think I’m nuts - chainsaw chaps, face shield and ear mufflers when I use a string trimmer @ 30c. Sweating my balls off... but also...
Just called the dealer. the 30" setup is $306 CDN, the 36" T glide is $534. He will do the upgrade for the cost difference. $228. I think I'm puling the trigger
You are 100 percent right - I am not overly experienced with woodworking. Other than rough framing, decks/ fence - and high school shop class. I have lots of experience with hvlp turbines from when my father has a finishing company. Hundreds of cabinet doors spray finished. I loathe that but I...
Thank you so much for this advice. I think everything you said rings true.
Ps I wish the Canadian pricing was $2500

Hi Folks,
Wondering if there are any woodworkers here that can share their experience. My local sawstop dealer is willing to make a deal on a store demo saw. It hasn’t been used, just sitting on the floor. Its the professional 1.75 cabinet saw with 30” premium fence. I plan on building some...
