Depends what you want it for. It's not a serious tool. It won't make you any money. However it's perfect to keep in the kitchen drawer for when you need a screwdriver in the house. If you have a set of normal screwdrivers, and a cordless screwdriver, you will never use it.

If it's just sheet, and you have a bit you can spare, give it a whirl. Not much different to a trepan bit really, for drilling sheet atleast.

Looks good, nice idea. Whats it like trying to grab tools out though? The foam looks quite thick. A coupe half circle finger sized cutouts on each side would help grabbing out the tools more easily.

I wouldn't say its a gimmick, though it could do with better build quality. Black and Decker Gyro cordless screwdriver, now that is a gimmick.

Just grabbed one of these today (not Kobalt but i believe is the exact same thing just different brand, looks exactly the same, local house brand) I've got ordinary screw drivers, an ordinary ratchet screwdriver, and a cordless screwdriver, this new double drive one will replace my ordinary...

Haha i was thinking the same thing. It's a 2 second job to put the lock through the hole and slip the retaining clip over it.

Use a commercial grade paint, not standard automotive paint, it's more hard wearing. Talk to your local paint supplier for recommended brands and systems etc
