    Thanks for the reply and info RTM. The old belt came apart in pieces while I was using the sander. No pieces big enough to get numbers let alone measure it. This sander used an old splined belt, so no teeth. I am going to see if I can get the splined drive wheels off and change to toothed type...

    Anyone know a source for old black and decker drive belt. Model #4026. sanding belt size is 3”x21”. I tried replacement parts but no luck there. Problem looks like this is a splined drive belt,( similar to serpentine on cars) not a ribbed belt which appears to be the norm on newer belt sanders...
