Time to tackle the floors, we went with the antique barn wood.

Next up installing the cabinets in the Master Bath.

One of our other sons is an electrician so he came down to help install the lighting and the attic stairs.

Green house where we have our tower gardens.

Next project was to get the kitchen counter tops installed.

Then it was time for me to get to work again and prime and paint the interior walls, 2 coats of each. Final color is a light grey and we are going to do bright white trim.

The sheetrock was delivered and I hired a crew to come and hang it, I'm too old to be doing that **** :ROFLMAO: They did the whole house in 1 day, crew of 6 they were hustling. I also hired a crew to come tape, mud, and texture that took 3 or 4 days.

Our son was over from Ireland for a visit and was a great help in getting the joists finished on the other side of the house. Then we framed in the 6' by 8' pantry in the kitchen adding the blocks to support the barn doors that will be built and installed later.

Had to sheetrock the wall behind the kitchen cabinets since they showed up early, o_O when does that ever happen! Well the cabinets are up, now back to finishing the joists on the other side of the house. I raised the kitchen island 12" since that will be for me to use. When you are 6'5" and...

Time to get the ceiling joists up, not much fun doing these by yourself or sometimes with 1 helper.

Time to design the kitchen and pick out the cabinet style and color then the backsplash.

I did not get any pics during the tape and mud process or texturing but here are the walls after the first coat of color.

Next was getting the guest bathroom and the mud room along with the separation wall sheet rocked.

Time to go pick up the 2x12x20' joists for the ceiling.

Okay back to the house build, A lot of framing going on. It is challenging to live in a construction zone while trying to get the house built. Seems like we spend more time moving thing from one end of the space to another then back again.
