Well it has been a long while since I’ve had time to update this thread. 3 years to be exact, a lot has happened and we have made good progress. I am now officially retired so updates will be more frequent and will have more pictures.

We have made a lot of progress so far this year, I will go back and get everything caught up on what we have done. We had more gravel brought in so we had more area that was level and free of the dreaded red mud. This was May of 2018

With the Covid craziness going full on we are told we will be work remotely for the foreseeable future soooooo, We decided to sell the city house and move full time down the the property.

Well we are living out of boxes down at the property, had to have a fence put up for the dogs so they don't go too far.

Dogs seem to like it, they have more room than at the city house but their large water dish that we called the pool is gone.

Since we made the move to the property but the house is not done, okay we have not started framing the interior walls of the house side yet. Better get moving LOL.

November 2020 Okay back to the house, the window AC units have worked okay but it will start cooling off soon and we have no heat-AC system yet. Time to get the Mini Split systems installed.

Good thing we got the Mini Splits installed, January Snowmageddon hit East Texas

DeeDubz, The Texas weather is brutal on anything left outside so the second building is for the RV’s, Trucks, Tractors and will also be used as the mechanical workshop. Thanks for stopping by

Boosted1, It was a matter of cost at the time, we did have the peaks of the end walls done in spray foam.

Okay back to the house build, A lot of framing going on. It is challenging to live in a construction zone while trying to get the house built. Seems like we spend more time moving thing from one end of the space to another then back again.
