Scrap swarf chips in the small shop

There is a recycle place across the street from my metal supply, so that works out for me. All chips and steel goes in the recycle can at home.

Mine was not loud enough, so I bought two Honeywell wireless doorbells. One for the house and one for the shop. Works great.

    Drilling Through Stainless

I drill 16 gauge 304 all the time. I use Champion 135 degree split point HSS bits. Boelube is my lube of choice. I buy 3/16 bits in 20 packs and toss them as soon as they get a little dull. The majority of my stainless drilling is done with a hand drill. Good luck.

    Removing wheel casters

The style I have at work has a rubber plug that is inserted into the tubing and expands as you tighten a bolt on the caster base. Yours seems to be missing the bolt head. Good luck.

    Pocket knife serrations

    helmet issues

I have an Elite and run into it on low amps. It usually happens when I start the arc by slowly pressing the pedal. Many times the cup, workpiece or my hand partially block the light easily on the low amps. Adjusting the sensitivity will fix it, but then the glare from natural light sets it...
