    Strictly cost for me to have them engineered, build them, deal with screwing instead of nailing sheathing alot of extra $s. Gasketed stainless roofing screws dont feed through 16ga metal so every time a crimp would land on a truss could be a pain in the but. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

    Little update making some progress! Used osb on roof, 1/2" PT ply on walls up 4' and 1/2" CDX ply 4'-14'. Storm Guard underlayment and 26 GA galv 5v crimp fastened every 12". Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

    This is not a reroof it is new construction the building was engineered for 180mph and code only requires 140. I will post pics of tiedown systems. The reason I am asking about OSB is the engineer stated 5/8 OSB or plywood. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

    I am ready to start sheathing my roof and am attracted to OSB basicly because of Price. Has anyone used OSB and wished they had not and why?
