First time posting... Here is what my friend and i came up with. One sheet of plywood builds either the 6 cell or 9 cell storage unit. 5/8" G1S - brad nailed, and glued. Good for 2-300 lbs total weight/ unit. Nothing fancy, yet simple enough even I could build it.
